CUET Study Group
CUET prep happens in the same months as Class 12 boards, so most students are not looking for a big group, just one friend who keeps them on track.
How people prep for this today
NTA runs CUET UG as a computer-based test for admissions to central universities including Delhi University. In the 2026 cycle, students could pick up to five subjects, languages, domain subjects or the general aptitude test, with 50 questions and 60 minutes per paper, five marks for a right answer and one off for a wrong one. CUET UG 2026 ran from May 11 to 31, so the 2027 cycle is likely to follow board exams again, with registration early in the year.
Domain papers follow the NCERT Class 12 syllabus, so for many students CUET prep is mostly board revision plus timed MCQ practice. The extra layer comes through coaching-run Telegram and WhatsApp groups, YouTube channels and mock test apps, plus endless DU college and course cut-off discussions.
A CUET study group is usually two classmates working through the same subject combination: timing each other on mock papers, revising NCERT chapters together and sharing general test practice. The shorthand is very current: subject combination, normalised score, CSAS, DU preference list, domain versus general test.
Why finding the right peer is hard
Most students are prepping for boards and CUET at the same time, sometimes for JEE or NEET as well, and there is rarely a single person around who shares the exact same subject combination. Coaching channels are large and anonymous. For a seventeen year old, the right kind of support is a familiar, verified peer, not a stranger from a group chat.
How Zyber fits
Zyber can help a CUET aspirant find a verified peer, ideally a classmate or someone from the same school or coaching batch, for daily mock check-ins and NCERT revision, framed purely as accountability. For students under 18 this is peer accountability only, not meeting strangers: stick to people you already know or online check-ins, tell a parent who you are studying with, and never share your address or personal details. Zyber makes no claim about your CUET score, college or course, and will never suggest that studying without a partner puts you behind.
Campuses where this crowd is deep
A few campuses have enough serious people prepping that finding a matched partner is realistic:
- Hindu College admits through CUET, and its first-years remember the boards-plus-CUET stretch very clearly.
- Miranda House is one of the most sought-after DU colleges on CUET preference lists every year.
- Banaras Hindu University is a central university that admits undergraduates through CUET, drawing students from across north India.

FAQ: CUET Study Group
How do I find a CUET study group?+
Start with classmates who have a similar subject combination, since people you already know are the safest and most consistent. Zyber can help you find a verified peer on the same cycle for daily check-ins.
Are CUET Telegram groups good?+
They are useful for mock links, PYQs and admission updates. They are large broadcast groups, so they will not keep you accountable day to day.
How many subjects can I choose in CUET UG?+
In the 2026 cycle students could choose up to five subjects, including languages and the general aptitude test, with 50 questions and 60 minutes per paper. Check cuet.nta.nic.in for the 2027 rules.
Can I prepare for CUET and boards together?+
Yes, most students do, since domain papers follow the NCERT Class 12 syllabus. A study partner helps keep timed MCQ practice going alongside board revision.
Is it safe to find a study partner online if I am under 18?+
Keep it to people you already know where possible, prefer online check-ins, tell a parent who you are studying with, and never share personal details. A study partner is for accountability, not for meeting strangers.
Does Zyber guarantee a DU seat?+
No. Zyber makes no claim about your CUET score, college or course. It only helps you find a verified peer to stay accountable with.
