State PSC Study Partner
State PSC aspirants prepare for years against exam calendars that slip, and a steady answer-writing partner is often the one thing that keeps the routine intact.
How people prep for this today
Every state commission runs its own cycle. UPPSC has scheduled its PCS 2026 prelims for December 6, 2026, followed by mains and an interview. BPSC's 72nd combined competitive exam prelims, originally set for July 26, 2026, was postponed, a pattern state aspirants know too well. MPPSC, MPSC and RPSC follow similar prelims, mains and interview structures, each with a heavy state-specific GK section.
Prep clusters in a few cities: Prayagraj for UPPSC, Patna's Musallahpur and Naya Tola for BPSC, Indore for MPPSC, Pune for MPSC and Jaipur for RPSC. Aspirants share rooms, use paid self-study libraries and follow Telegram channels for state current affairs, while a lot of UPSC material is reused for the general studies papers.
The routine looks like UPSC with a state twist: answer writing for mains, state history, geography and schemes, and constant waiting for notifications. Pune reporting has described MPSC aspirants dealing with crowded rooms, high rents and recruitment delays of several years, which adds stress on top of the prep.
Why finding the right peer is hard
Long gaps between notifications break study circles. Partners clear the exam, take another job or go home, and each new cycle can mean starting over. In the hubs, everyone is technically competing for a small number of posts, which makes honest feedback on mains answers hard to find. Aspirants preparing from home towns often have no one nearby writing the same state exam.
How Zyber fits
Zyber can help state PSC aspirants find verified peers nearby who are writing the same commission's exam, in the same hub or city, for daily answer-writing swaps, state GK quizzing and steady routines through calendar delays. It is not coaching or a test series and makes no claim about your prelims, mains or final result. It only helps you find a real person to study with.
Campuses where this crowd is deep
A few campuses have enough serious people prepping that finding a matched partner is realistic:
- University of Lucknow feeds a large UPPSC aspirant base that often stays in Lucknow rather than moving to Prayagraj.
- Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya in Indore sits in the city where MPPSC prep is most concentrated.
- Savitribai Phule Pune University is at the centre of Pune's MPSC prep scene, with many graduates staying on to prepare.

FAQ: State PSC Study Partner
How do I find a study partner for state PSC exams?+
Look for someone writing the same commission's exam through your library, coaching batch or college friends. Zyber can help you find verified aspirants nearby on the same cycle.
Are UPPSC or BPSC Telegram groups useful?+
They are useful for state current affairs and notification updates. They rarely help with answer-writing feedback, which needs a small, steady partnership.
When is UPPSC PCS prelims 2026?+
UPPSC has scheduled the PCS 2026 prelims for December 6, 2026. Check uppsc.up.nic.in for any change.
Can I prepare for UPSC and state PSC together?+
Many aspirants do, since the general studies syllabus overlaps a lot. State exams need extra focus on state history, geography and schemes, which a state-specific partner helps with.
How do I stay motivated when PSC exams get delayed?+
A fixed daily routine with a partner, answer writing or quizzing, keeps prep going when the calendar does not. Short, regular sessions matter more than long ones.
Does Zyber guarantee PSC selection?+
No. Zyber only helps you find verified peers nearby to study with and makes no claim about your result.
